Parcel Purgatory...
Liam had some mail arrive for him today, more than two months after it was sent, and with a big accusing sticker slapped on the back of it. "The contents?" you ask. One pretty pink CAMRA bib...Where it's been for the last seventy odd days we don't know for sure - it looked like some one had 'roughed up the suspect' - but I figure it was probably parcel purgatory - a place where letters with inadequate postage go to be chastised by angry mailmen and told they'll never see the light of day again unless their sender coughs up the ransom of a few more peso's.

We all were - one of the great mysteries of the mail service. What is an 'alternative service'? Should I test it for traces of pigeon shit...the bib does have a big brown stain on it!

Perhaps the pesos were used to flash up the CAMRA website, which I note has taken both an amber and an upmarket turn (still looks like a cheap piece of crap but not so much a cheap homemade pisce of crap).
New beer post at www.pc.blogspot.com (Galbraith's Grafton Porter).
And my word verification - veiog - a beauty!
