"BIG!"
Liam's language skills are leaping and bounding at the moment - the latest thing is for every machine he knows to be preceeded by the adjective "BIG". This means that every truck is a "BIG Gwuk", every plane is a "BIG Plan", every bus is a "BIG Buh" and so on. He's also adding more semi-words to his vocab, mainly by pointing at things and asking "Sat!?", meaning 'what the hell is that?'. We tell him, and he gives it a go if he thinks he can manage part of the sound. There are too many to remember - one that springs to mind from the last 24 hours - "Sih" for 'Simon'. Reminded me me of what is probably my earliest genuine memory - calling him "Sarmie" when we were kids and mum correcting me. Its hazy now, but I think she might have said "His names not Sarmie - its Snub Nose"...Labels: When I Was A Boy...
